Most handyman companies guess at hours and bill against the guess. Every handyman service here has one flat price, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
Four categories, and a short list on purpose.
Handyman
Light fixtures, outlets and switches, plumbing fixtures and toilets, cabinet and door hardware, mounted TVs and decor, garage storage, heavy lifting, playgrounds, trampolines, pergola kits.
Drywall & Paint
Repairs and texture matching, one room to a full house, garage finishing with insulation, exterior paint including pressure wash, deck staining.
Interiors
Bathroom remodels, basement remodels and finishing, fireplace builds, design trim walls, kitchen backsplash.
Outdoor Living
Concrete patios including stamped and stained, sealing of existing concrete, wood and gas fire pits, wood pergolas, sitting walls, outdoor kitchens, wood decks.
If a job does not fit one of those four, OnCall does not take it. No car chargers, no full kitchen remodels, no pools. There is a vendor list for the rest.
Three bids, close on price. Now what?
Price stops being the deciding factor once the numbers land within a few hundred dollars of each other. What is left is how the job is priced, how fast you hear back, and whether one company can carry all of it.
